Tumby Bay Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Emergency, Acute and Aged Care ward on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work across a range of clinical settings in a regional healthcare environment. The role runs from as soon as possible through to 27 November 2026, with a duration of approximately 3 to 4 weeks.

You'll work between 0.63 and 1.0 FTE (48 to 76 hours per fortnight), with flexibility to support other areas of the hospital as operational needs require.

- Work across Emergency, Acute and Aged Care settings in a regional hospital

- Contract position, approximately 3-4 weeks, starting ASAP

- Flexible rostering at 0.63-1.0 FTE with scope to support other clinical areas

Preferred Requirements

- Current Registered Nurse (RN1) registration with AHPRA





- Demonstrated experience in emergency nursing, acute care, or aged care settings

- Ability to work flexibly across multiple ward areas depending on operational demands

- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills in a quick-paced environment

- Willingness to adapt to the needs of a regional hospital setting

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration

- Post-graduate qualification or experience in Emergency Nursing, Acute Care, or Aged Care

- Current First Aid and CPR certification
