Port Lincoln Health and Hospital Service is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Operating Theatre team on a five-week contract from 16 November to 18 December 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced theatre nurse to contribute to a rural healthcare service in South Australia. Working 0.84 FTE (64 hours per fortnight), you'll deliver skilled perioperative care in a dynamic clinical environment, with flexibility to support other areas of the hospital as operational needs arise.

Preferred Requirements

- Demonstrated operating theatre nursing experience





- Background in rural and remote nursing practice

- Current Registered Nurse (RN1) registration with AHPRA

- Ability to work flexibly across different clinical areas as required

- Robust communication and teamwork skills in a collaborative theatre environment

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

- Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated competency in perioperative nursing

- Experience working in rural or remote healthcare settings
