An established Australian business is looking for a Sales Consultant who can turn enquiries into orders, look after existing customers and pick up the phone to find the next opportunity.

You might already work in internal sales, trade counter sales or account management. You could also come from the tools and have sales experience to back your practical knowledge.

The Role

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you'll handle inbound enquiries, prepare quotes and help customers find the right products for the job. You'll build repeat business by being reliable, following through and keeping customers informed.

There's proactive sales involved too—you'll follow up quotes, reconnect with customers and develop new opportunities.

What You'll Be Doing

- Talking with customers to understand what they need and recommend practical solutions.
- Preparing accurate quotes and following them through to an order.
- Building relationships with existing accounts and growing their spend.
- Making outbound calls to develop new business.
- Learning the product range so you can give confident,



practical advice.
- Keeping customer details, quotes and opportunities up to date in the CRM.
- Working towards sales targets with a clear plan for your activity.

What You'll Bring

- Experience in internal sales, trade counter sales, account management or business development.
- A practical mindset and the ability to build rapport with trade customers.
- Confidence asking for the order and following up without needing a reminder.
- Good organisation—you keep track of quotes, calls and commitments.
- Attention to detail with pricing, product information and customer requirements.
- Confidence using computers, Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- A team approach and willingness to learn.
