Wedding & Events Sales Coordinator

Permanent part-time | The Refectory, Werribee Park

Bursaria is looking for a warm, personable and motivated sales professional to join our team at The Refectory, Werribee Park.

Set within the beautiful grounds of Werribee Mansion, The Refectory hosts weddings, corporate events and private celebrations of all sizes, combining heritage surroundings with exceptional food and hospitality.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you’ll welcome prospective clients, showcase our event spaces and help them imagine their celebration or event coming to life. You’ll enjoy meeting new people, building relationships and following through with thoughtful proposals and attentive service.

About the role

This is a permanent part-time position, working on site every Friday and Saturday, with up to six additional hours of administration from home across other days, at agreed times. The opportunity to extend the days and hours may become an option within time.

Your responsibilities will include

- Conducting site inspections for prospective wedding, private event and corporate clients, showcasing our spaces and discussing their requirements.
- Preparing tailored proposals following inspections, with accurate pricing, information based on your conversations and notes, and attention to detail.
- Following up with clients, monitoring a shared inbox, answering questions and helping turn enquiries into confirmed bookings.
- Maintaining accurate enquiry records into the tracking system, client correspondence and follow-up tasks.
- Supporting the Sales Manager with day-to-day sales administration when time allows.




- Representing The Refectory and The Parlour with warmth, professionalism and positivity.

About you You’re naturally personable and approachable, with the confidence to connect with people of all demographics planning their wedding or private event and corporate clients organising their next event. You understand that a great venue inspection is about listening as much as showcasing the space, and you make clients feel welcome and well looked after.

We’re looking for someone with:

- Experience in sales, hospitality, weddings or events, ideally in a client-facing role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prepare accurate, well-presented proposals.
- A proactive approach to following up enquiries and supporting bookings within a team.
- Qualified presentation and attire appropriate to a premium wedding and events venue.
- The ability to work independently from home and collaboratively with our on-site team.
- Consistent availability to work Fridays and Saturdays on site at Werribee Park.
