Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm

Salary: $60,000 AUD Basic + Super + Uncapped Commission

Realistic Year 1 OTE: $140,000 – $160,000+

Business Show Media is looking for ambitious, commercially driven Sales Executives to join our growing Sydney team. This is an opportunity for experienced salespeople, business development professionals and high-performing SDRs looking to take ownership of commercial opportunities and significantly increase their earning potential.

You'll be responsible for developing new business, managing sales opportunities from initial conversation through to closing and building relationships with business owners and senior decision-makers.

For ambitious individuals, there are genuine opportunities to progress into senior management and Event Director positions.

About the Opportunity

You'll be selling exhibition and sponsorship opportunities for our international business events. Working across a range of industries, you'll engage with companies looking to grow their brand, generate leads, build relationships and connect with potential customers.

You'll have ownership of your pipeline, sales activity and individual revenue targets, with uncapped commission rewarding strong performance.

What You'll Be Doing

- Identifying and engaging prospective exhibitors and sponsors
- Generating new business through outbound sales activity
- Building relationships with business owners and senior decision-makers
- Understanding client objectives and presenting relevant solutions
- Managing sales conversations from initial contact through to closing
- Delivering presentations and negotiating commercial agreements




- Handling objections and progressing opportunities
- Managing and developing your sales pipeline
- Achieving individual revenue and performance targets

- Maintaining accurate CRM records
- Working closely with the wider commercial team
- Applying feedback and coaching to continuously improve performance

Who We're Looking For

- Previous experience in B2B sales, business development or recruitment
- A proven ability to work towards and achieve targets
- Confidence communicating with senior decision-makers
- Solid negotiation and closing skills
- Commercial awareness and relationship-building ability

- Resilience and accountability
- Excellent organisation and pipeline management
- Ambition to progress into senior sales and leadership positions
