About the Opportunity

Genwest Pty Ltd is an established equipment hire and service provider specialising in the supply, hire and maintenance of lighting towers, generators and general hire equipment throughout Western Australia.

With a growing fleet of over 500 units and continued expansion across the state, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales & Hire Coordinator to join our team in a newly created position.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities and contributing directly to business growth.

The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening our existing customer relationships, expanding our client base and supporting the continued development of our hire operations.

We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the role, bring fresh ideas to the business and contribute to a positive, customer-focused and results-driven team environment.

With an established customer base, a growing equipment fleet and the opportunity to make this role your own, this position offers genuine scope for qualified growth and career development.

The position is based in Kalgoorlie; however, alternative roster arrangements, including FIFO, or shared time between the Kalgoorlie and Perth branches may be considered for the right candidate.

About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- A proven background in sales, with the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Experience or a sound understanding of the mining industry and its operational requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, suppliers and other key stakeholders.
- A proactive, organised and customer-focused approach to managing competing priorities.
- The confidence and willingness to conduct client site visits as required.
- A current WA 'C' Class driver's licence.
- The ability to meet client site access and induction requirements.

Key Responsibilities





Your responsibilities will include

- Act as a key point of contact for clients, responding to enquiries and managing day-to-day requests.
- Prepare and follow up on equipment hire quotations.
- Coordinate client hire requirements to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
- Review and approve hire invoicing to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively identifying and developing new business opportunities.
- Conduct client site visits to strengthen relationships and understand equipment requirements.
- Assist in maintaining the professional presentation of Genwest's equipment fleet and yard display.
- Work collaboratively with the wider Genwest team to support efficient hire operations and customer satisfaction.
