Please note, this is an initial 1-year contract opportunity, covering the whole state. What You’ll Be Doing:
If you’re passionate about building relationships, driving sales, and growing brand presence in independent supermarkets, this could be the perfect role for you!
- Manage and grow a portfolio of independent grocery retailers across a designated territory. Influence outcomes with decision makers to grow sales and market share.
- Supporting state-based MSOs as required to delivery best in class results.
- Drive product sales, increase distribution, and execute promotional programs to maximise brand presence.
- Build strong business relationships with store owners, managers, and key decision-makers. Be the category captain retailers need in the categories you play in.
- Shelf standards, merchandise and ensure prime shelf positioning in-store.
- Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities.
- Provide insights on market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in FMCG, Independent Grocery or a similar sales-driven environment.
- A strong understanding of the independent grocery channel.
- Self-motivated with a passion for sales and building relationships.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage a sales territory effectively.
- A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the assigned region.
