Do you have a passion for customer service and love the buzz of a busy salon? We're looking for a friendly, organised, and enthusiastic Salon Coordinator / Receptionist to join our welcoming team in beautiful City Beach.
As the first person our clients see when they walk through the door, you'll play an important role in creating an exceptional salon experience while keeping the day running smoothly.
About the Role
Working Thursday, Friday and Saturday, your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming clients with a warm and professional attitude.
- Managing appointments and the salon booking system.
- Answering phones, emails and client enquiries.
- Processing payments and managing the daily till.
- Assisting with retail sales and recommending salon products.
- Coordinating stylists' schedules to ensure the day runs efficiently.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and inviting reception area.
- Supporting the salon team with general administration and day-to-day operations.
- Helping create a positive and memorable experience for every client.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience working in a hair salon or as a qualified beauty therapist (essential).
- Has excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Is confident, friendly and enjoys building relationships with clients.
- Has excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
- Can remain calm and efficient in a rapid-paced environment.
- Has strong computer skills and experience using, or the ability to quickly learn, salon booking software.
- Takes pride in their presentation and attention to detail.
- Is reliable, proactive and enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
- Is available to work every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
