About The Role Are you the person who can make a complex transport schedule run like clockwork? Do you thrive on coordinating vehicles, people and resources while keeping operations moving? We want to hear from you! We're looking for a talented Scheduler to join our busy Sydney operations team based in Yennora. Whether your experience is in linehaul, transport, freight, logistics, fleet coordination, distribution or operational scheduling,

we're interested in the skills and experience you can bring to Kent.

Working closely with our Operations Manager and national branch network, you'll play a key role in coordinating interstate transport and container movements, managing resources and ensuring our operations run efficiently.

This is a hands-on scheduling role where no two days are the same. You'll need to think ahead, manage competing priorities and respond confidently when plans change.

We're open to experienced industry schedulers who can hit the ground running, as well as capable operations and logistics professionals looking to take the next step in their career.

Some of What You Will Be Doing

- Planning and coordinating interstate road and rail transport schedules and container movements
- Managing transport bookings, container allocations and movements between branches and depots
- Liaising with drivers, crews, contractors, transport providers and interstate operations teams
- Monitoring schedules, anticipating disruptions and finding practical solutions to keep things moving
- Coordinating transport documentation, waybills, manifests and operational records
- Maintaining accurate information across scheduling and warehouse management systems
- Working collaboratively with warehouse and operations teams to meet service delivery requirements
- Identifying opportunities to improve transport efficiency, resource utilisation and operational costs
- Supporting safety, compliance and quality standards across daily operations

About You You know that great scheduling is about more than booking a truck or allocating resources. It's about planning ahead, thinking on your feet and keeping everything moving when the unexpected happens. We're Interested In Hearing From People Who Bring

- Experience in transport scheduling, logistics coordination, fleet planning, dispatch, operations scheduling or a similar environment
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Confidence making decisions, solving problems and responding to last-minute changes
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with operational teams and service providers
- Good computer skills and experience using scheduling, transport management or similar operational systems
- A proactive approach, strong attention to detail and a commitment to getting the job done

Experience in removals, road transport, interstate freight, container logistics, rail or distribution will be highly regarded, but you don't need to have worked in the removals industry to be successful. We value practical operational knowledge, initiative and people who understand what it takes to deliver in a fast-paced environment.

Why Kent?

At Kent, no two days in operations are the same. You'll be part of a national business where your planning, decisions and problem-solving have a direct impact on our customers and the success of our operations.

Whether you're an experienced industry scheduler looking for your next challenge or an operations professional ready to develop your career, we'd love to explore what you can bring to the team.

You may not tick every box, and that's okay. We value experience, attitude and potential, and we're committed to helping our people develop.

Ready to make your next move? Apply now and tell us about your experience in transport, logistics or operations.
