Role Overview
MIG Welder required for straightforward fabrication work involving handrails and balustrades.
The role involves MIG welding carbon steel components, with a focus on maintaining consistent weld quality and completing work to the required standard.
Key Responsibilities
- MIG weld handrails and balustrade components.
- Complete fillet welds on carbon steel.
- Maintain consistent weld quality and workmanship.
- Follow workshop procedures and maintain safe work practices.
Requirements
- Previous MIG welding experience.
- Ability to complete quality fillet welds on carbon steel.
- Must be able to pass a practical weld test before commencing.
- Reliable attitude and ability to work effectively in a workshop workplace.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm.
- Overtime available when required, with additional opportunities expected after the first few weeks
