Our client, a Federal Government Department focused on providing services to the community is seeking 3 x Senior Ansible Developers to join their team in January 2027.

Duties:

- Develop, test and support enterprise automation using Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform, including playbooks, roles, inventories, workflows, APIs, and integration with enterprise infrastructure and ITSM processes.
- Design automation that considers operational support, stakeholder communication, change management, failure handling, logging, monitoring and clear escalation paths Design, develop and deploy automation, workflow and AI-enabled solutions that reduce manual effort, improve productivity, and create workforce capacity
- Design and deliver automation across infrastructure, cloud, networks, security, and ITSM
- Provide technical guidance and subject matter expertise across automation and AI initiatives

Skills & Experience:

- Experienced in automation, DevOps, platform engineering, or managed services.
- Strong experience with Ansible playbooks, roles, inventories, variables, handlers,



templates, modules, and reusable automation
- Robust RHEL/Linux administration, patching, services, packages, permissions, filesystems, and troubleshooting
- Strong automation development skills in Python scripting for custom automation, REST API interaction and extending Ansible where required
