About the Role

At Count, we're looking for an exceptional Senior Business Analyst to help shape how our technology supports the growth of Count.

Reporting to the Head of Group Technology, the Senior Business Analyst plays a pivotal role in advancing Count’s Strategic projects by working closely with stakeholders across the business to translate requirements into actionable solutions, optimise existing processes, and drive the successful delivery of Count’s strategic projects.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Delivery

- Support the design and delivery of scalable solutions that align with business goals and improve operational efficiency.
- Define acceptance criteria and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) with business stakeholders to validate delivered solutions.
- Work with the Group Technology team, including Software Engineering team on requirements clarification and solution validation throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable business requirements.

Business Process Analysis & Optimisation





- Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Design and implement optimised business processes that enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve customer experience.
- Develop business cases with detailed cost-benefit analysis and ROI projections for process improvement initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration

- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, developers, and third-party vendors to ensure shared understanding and delivery alignment.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops, discovery sessions, and solution walkthroughs.
- Influence stakeholders to review and change existing processes, with a focus on simplifying ways of working, driving efficiency and improving the customer experience.

Continuous Improvement & Growth

- Contribute to building a team-oriented and learning-focused team culture.
- Identify opportunities for process automation, product improvements, and optimisation of business applications.
- Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to Count’s documentation and best practice libraries.

About You

We’re seeking a Senior Business Analyst with sharp commercial acumen,



a strong analytical mindset and the ability to translate complex requirements into practical, high-value solutions.

You'll ideally have

- 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, ideally in a financial services or SaaS environment.
- Proven experience with accounting and financial planning technology platforms and AI tools.
- Strong understanding of business process design and optimisation, requirements gathering, and solution documentation.
- Strategic thinking and business acumen.
- Analytical and problem-solving expertise.
- Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills with the ability to influence outcomes.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative delivery practices.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.
- Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and commitment to continuous improvement.
