Stanhope | Casual, Part-Time & Full-Time Opportunities
Join a progressive livestock operation focused on animal welfare, best-practice calf rearing and a great team culture — just good people doing great work, looking after their teammates and taking pride in what they do.
CalfLink specialises in Beef-on-Dairy production, partnering with dairy farmers to raise healthy, well-grown calves for premium beef markets. With purpose-built facilities, structured husbandry programs and a strong focus on preventative health, we're committed to giving every calf the best possible start.
We're looking for positive, practical and reliable people to join our calf rearing and animal health team. Experience is valuable, but attitude matters just as much. We want people who work hard, look out for their teammates, take pride in what they do and bring a positive attitude to work.
This is a hands-on role for people who enjoy working with animals, being part of a close-knit team and contributing to a workplace built on respect, teamwork and high standards.
About the Role
Working within our purpose-built calf sheds, you will be involved in all aspects of calf care and health management, including:
- Feeding and nutrition management
- Monitoring calf health and behaviour
- Identifying and responding to animal health issues early
- Administering treatments in line with protocols
- Maintaining hygiene, cleanliness and biosecurity standards
- Record keeping and health observations
- Supporting a positive, welfare-focused team culture
Positions are available on a casual, part-time or full-time basis across a 7-day roster.
About You
We're looking for good humans with a great attitude who take pride in their work, enjoy being part of a team and genuinely care about animal welfare.
You will ideally bring
- A positive, can-do attitude, strong work ethic and reliability
- A calm, patient and observant approach to working with animals
- A willingness to learn, take feedback and embrace new ways of doing things
- Positive communication skills and a supportive, team-first mindset
- Confidence working in a practical, hands-on and fast-paced environment
- Experience in calf rearing, livestock handling or animal husbandry (highly regarded, but not essential)
Experience in dairy, beef, large animal veterinary nursing or livestock production will be highly regarded. However, we value attitude and character just as highly as experience, and are happy to develop the right person. Why Join CalfLink?
- Modern, purpose-built calf rearing facilities
- Strong focus on animal welfare and preventative health
- Supportive and practical team environment
- Ongoing learning and development opportunities
- Flexible employment options and opportunities to grow with the business
If you’re looking for a rewarding, hands-on role where your contribution, attitude and commitment to animal welfare will be genuinely valued. APPLY NOW and join the CalfLink team in Stanhope.
