A rare chance to join a cyber defence team as a threat intelligence specialist in Canberra. This role is inside a large, nationally recognised Australian organisation with millions of customers.

You'll track the threat actors that matter most, produce intelligence that drives real decisions and brief senior leadership. The team is growing in Canberra, with real scope to build intelligence sharing relationships with researchers and government agencies.

This is a genuine threat intelligence role, not a SOC seat with a CTI title.

What the role covers

- Threat actor tracking: TTPs, tooling, infrastructure and targeting
- Strategic, operational and tactical intelligence products
- Threat landscape briefings for technical teams and senior leadership
- Turning intelligence into detections, blocks and response support





What you will bring

- 5+ years in CTI or a related intelligence role
- Deep threat actor and campaign research experience
- Robust intelligence writing and executive briefing skills
- Government, defence or related experience (nice to have)

Suits a CTI specialist from a government or defence intelligence background, or a consultant wanting intelligence to be the main job again.

Permanent role in Canberra, hybrid.

We will need Australian citizens; NV1 or higher preferred, sponsorship to NV2 available.
