Reporting to the Capability Technical Analytics Lead, the Senior Data Visualisation Analyst will exercise sound judgement, manage work of moderate complexity and take accountability for delivering reliable data, technology and analytical solutions that strengthen wholesale market surveillance.

Strong end-to-end data knowledge and demonstrated practical experience are essential. This includes data collection, API-based ingestion, pipelines, transformation, integration, storage and modelling across the end-to-end data lifecycle. You will apply this expertise to define business requirements, review technical solutions, troubleshoot issues, manage risks, support validation and testing.

As the Senior Data Visualisation role, your duties will include:

- Contribute to the planning and delivery of data and technology initiatives that strengthen wholesale market surveillance, coordinating work orders and dependencies, managing competing priorities independently, and escalating risks to scope, timing and benefits.
- Work with surveillance analysts, technology teams and other stakeholders to define business requirements and acceptance criteria, and design, document and maintain metrics, indicators and business rules for consistent, risk-based surveillance.
- Apply hands-on experience across the back-end and front-end data lifecycle, covering collection, API ingestion, processing, integration, storage,



modelling and analytical products. Work with technology teams to investigate complex datasets and processing issues, improve backend solutions, and develop scalable Power BI dashboards, reports, self-service analytics and automated workflows.
- Validate, reconcile and track data lineage to ensure complete, accurate, timely, fit-for-purpose data. Maintain auditable datasets, analytical code, metric definitions and records that meet governance, privacy, security, information management and version control requirements.
- Plan and conduct validation, user acceptance testing and implementation assurance for current solutions, changes and migrations; identify defects, verify fixes and confirm deployment readiness and business acceptance.
- Monitor surveillance product performance and recommend improvements based on value, cost, risk (including security risk) and support requirements. Provide clear briefs, updates, technical documentation and guidance for knowledge transfer and BAU handover.
