We're partnering with a large Government organisation delivering a significant Digital ID technology solution . This is an initial 6-month contract combining hands-on delivery oversight with strong PMO discipline to bring structure, visibility and momentum across the program.

They're looking for an experienced Delivery Lead / PMO Lead who can run a feature team's delivery lifecycle while owning the governance, reporting and ways of working that keep the broader program on track.

You'll work closely with Delivery Managers, Project Schedulers, technical teams and key stakeholders, providing clear visibility across delivery, milestones, risks, dependencies and outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing

- Planning, coordinating and monitoring the feature team's delivery lifecycle
- Managing resource utilisation, sprint planning, milestones, timelines and KPIs
- Running daily syncs, backlog refinement, sprint planning and retrospectives
- Facilitating program workshops and governance forums
- Supporting Delivery Managers to embed effective delivery methodologies and ways of working
- Preparing program board and steering committee reporting packs, status updates and delivery insights
- Working with Project Schedulers and stakeholders to maintain accurate plans, milestones and dependencies
- Maintaining RAID logs, delivery trackers and broader PMO artefacts
- Driving follow-through on actions, risks, dependencies, decisions and deliverables
- Identifying, mitigating and escalating delivery risks early
- Creating, maintaining and obtaining sign-off for change and release documentation
- Following support procedures for the ongoing use of the solution




- Using retrospectives to improve PMO tooling, reporting, processes and ways of working

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience

- Strong experience overseeing technology delivery across Agile or feature-based teams
- Demonstrated experience across sprint planning, delivery tracking and milestone management
- Strong PMO governance and reporting capability
- Experience preparing transparent reporting for program boards, steering committees and senior stakeholders
- Experience maintaining RAID logs, delivery trackers and program governance artefacts
- Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills
- Experience managing risks, dependencies, actions and decisions across complex delivery environments
- Experience supporting change and release processes and associated documentation
- A practical, outcome-focused approach to identifying and resolving delivery issues

Desirable Experience
- Experience working across large-scale digital or technology transformation programs
- Experience working within structured PMO and Agile delivery environments
- Exposure to Digital ID or similarly complex technology solutions

Contract & Clearance Requirements This is an initial 6-month Government contract , with applicants required to be Australian Citizens and eligible to obtain an Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance .
