Competitive Advantage HRM & Recruitment is hiring on behalf of an established financial services business based at Kirra Beach, seeking an experienced Senior Digital Systems Engineer to take ownership of its internal digital systems and technology environment.

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Digital Systems Engineer to work directly with the CEO every day to design, build and continuously improve our new bespoke company portal.

This is not a traditional IT support or vendor-management role. All design, development, automation and platform ownership will be handled in-house. You’ll turn ideas into working solutions and own delivery from concept through to launch, support and improvement. The company operates on Apple hardware and macOS. The successful candidate must be comfortable designing, building and supporting systems in an Apple-based workplace.

Overview of the Role The Senior Digital Systems Engineer will take ownership of the company's digital environment, designing and maintaining its bespoke portal, developing integrations and automations, and implementing AI solutions to improve business operations. This is a fast-paced, hands-on position suited to someone with a start-up and hackathon mentality who enjoys building solutions, testing ideas and delivering measurable results. You will need to work independently, adapt to changing priorities and balance innovation with security, quality and compliance.

About the Role In this role, you will:

- Work directly with the CEO on a daily basis.
- Design, build and maintain the bespoke company portal.
- Develop features, workflows, integrations and automations in-house.
- Work across Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams,



Entra ID, Power Platform, CRM and related systems.
- Support and integrate Apple-based business environments, including macOS.
- Apply AI and automation to improve productivity, quality and consistency.
- Manage APIs, scripting, system integrations and technical improvements.
- Maintain secure, reliable and well-documented systems.
- Resolve technical issues and eliminate recurring problems.
- Ensure systems meet financial services security, privacy and compliance requirements.
- Take full ownership without relying on vendors, MSPs or outsourced technical teams.

About the Candidate

Essential

- Experience designing and building internal platforms, portals or business systems.
- Strong experience supporting and integrating Apple-based business environments, including macOS devices and their interaction with Microsoft 365, identity, security and automation systems.
- Strong capability across Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID and Power Platform.
- Experience with integrations, APIs, scripting and automation.
- Practical experience implementing AI in business operations.
- Strong cybersecurity, identity-management and data-protection knowledge.
- Ability to manage the complete technical environment internally.
- A record of delivering measurable business improvements.
- Clear communication and strong technical documentation skills.
