Your new role:

As a Senior Engineer, Autonomy, you will take on a hands-on engineering role working across artificial intelligence, task and motion planning, controls, robotics and software development.

You will

- Design and implement autonomous behaviours for uncrewed aircraft.
- Work with real-world sensor data and develop robust sensor fusion solutions.
- Develop and test autonomy systems using high-fidelity software and hardware-in-the-loop simulations.
- Integrate autonomy products with third-party aircraft and systems.
- Collaborate closely with AI, robotics and systems engineering teams.
- Contribute to system architecture, code quality, design reviews and engineering best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.

What you'll need to succeed:





- A tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Mechatronics, Software Engineering, Aerospace, Robotics, or a related discipline.
- Significant professional experience across robotics, autonomy, perception or aerospace systems.
- Strong hands-on experience with modern C++.
- Demonstrated experience building and delivering reliable software systems, ideally within rapid-paced engineering environments.
- Experience with uncrewed systems, particularly within the air domain, would be highly regarded.
- Defence industry experience would be advantageous.
- Strong experience in one or more of the following areas: State estimation | Real-time systems | Guidance, navigation and control | Path planning
