At Secure Agility, we help customers solve business challenges through technology, delivering services across networking, cloud, cybersecurity and managed services.

We’re looking for a technically strong Senior Network Engineer to join our Professional Services team. Someone who enjoys being hands-on, takes pride in quality engineering and can work through complex problems with confidence.

Technical capability is our priority. You’ll bring solid experience designing, implementing and troubleshooting enterprise networks, backed by an understanding of delivering projects in an MSP or systems integration environment. If you also enjoy getting in front of customers, shaping solutions and supporting pre-sales, we’d love to hear about it.

What you’ll be doing

- Designing and delivering enterprise network and security solutions across campus, branch, data centre and hybrid environments.
- Getting hands-on with routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN and network access control.
- Owning technical delivery from discovery and design through implementation, migration, testing and handover, ensuring projects meet agreed scope, timelines and quality standards.
- Resolving complex Level 3 escalations, investigating root causes and implementing improvements to network security and reliability.
- Analysing network traffic, monitoring performance and tuning infrastructure to optimise capacity, stability and availability.
- Developing transparent technical designs, implementation and migration plans, and as-built documentation, while contributing to peer reviews and acceptance testing.
- Conducting customer workshops for discovery, requirements gathering, solution design, training and knowledge transfer.
- Working closely with customers, project managers, architects, vendors and carriers to coordinate delivery and resolve technical issues.
- Supporting Sales and Pre-Sales with technical scoping,

solution recommendations and reviews of customer tender requirements.
- Accurately recording billable and non-billable time to support project tracking, invoicing and delivery commitments.

What you’ll bring

- Proven MSP or systems integrator experience as a Senior Network Engineer, delivering customer-facing projects and taking ownership of technical outcomes.
- Strong enterprise network design and delivery experience across campus, branch, data centre and hybrid environments, covering both network and security solutions.
- Advanced routing and switching expertise, with hands-on capability configuring, implementing and supporting router and switch hardware and software.
- Experience implementing and supporting Cisco architectures, with technical depth in one or more of: routing and switching, security, data centre, wireless, Cisco DNA Centre, ISE or software-defined networking.
- Strong network security capability, including designing, implementing and managing next-generation firewalls, VPNs, intrusion prevention systems and network segmentation.
- At least three years’ experience designing and implementing security and SD-WAN solutions, using one or more platforms from Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Meraki, Juniper, Silver Peak or Viptela.
- Hands-on Network Access Control experience, including designing and implementing solutions such as Cisco ISE or Aruba ClearPass.
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, applying technical best practice, identifying root causes and implementing lasting solutions.
- Strong technical documentation and presentation skills, including developing and presenting High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), implementation and migration plans, and as-built documentation.
- Experience applying the ITIL framework,

including change management practices that support controlled implementations and reliable customer environments.
- Commercial awareness, with an understanding of billable project delivery, accurate time recording and the importance of customer satisfaction.
- Relevant network and security vendor certifications, such as Cisco CCNP or CCIE, or appropriate Palo Alto, Fortinet or Juniper credentials.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with a customer service mindset and the ability to explain technical solutions clearly to customers and colleagues.
- Ownership and effective time management, with the ability to manage your workload, prioritise competing demands and consistently deliver successful outcomes under pressure.

Also highly regarded

- Wireless network design, RF analysis and troubleshooting experience.
- Public cloud networking knowledge across Azure and/or AWS.
- Confidence leading customer workshops and contributing to solution scoping and pre-sales discussions.

- Room to grow: Deepen your technical expertise, build your vendor credentials and develop towards technical leadership or solutions architecture.
- Opportunities beyond the tools: If you enjoy working with customers, there’s scope to contribute to workshops, solution design and pre-sales while keeping engineering at the heart of your role.
- A collaborative team: Work alongside specialists across networking, cloud and cybersecurity who share knowledge and value your contribution.
