Senior Podiatrist | Salaried + Uncapped Bonus

This isn't a corporate clinic. In 2008, we opened our first clinic with a simple idea: treat patients properly, look after your team, and the rest figures itself out.

We're still family-owned. No private equity. No head office in Sydney deciding your appointment length. Just us, a team that's grown up together, and a way of doing things we're genuinely proud of.

We own our buildings, and we invest in fit-outs that actually work: proper sterilisation rooms, big consult spaces and valuable equipment. We're building for the long term, not flipping the business in three years.

The role

We're looking for an experienced podiatrist ready to do more than run a great caseload. This is a Senior Podiatrist role, and it comes with real ownership, not just a title.

You'll keep a strong clinical caseload, and you'll also:

- Mentor and supervise newer podiatrists, including graduates, with protected time to do it properly
- Build and lead a special interest area, agreed with you, that grows the practice and your expertise
- Lead case reviews and be the first port of call for clinical questions in the team
- Step in for our Clinical Team Lead when they're away
- Leadership pathway options

If you've been the person colleagues already come to, and you want that recognised, this is for you.

About Modern Medicine

We're multidisciplinary: podiatry, physiotherapy, exercise physiology, myotherapy, psychology and dietetics, all under one roof. You can refer internally, collaborate on complex patients and learn how other disciplines think.

Our podiatry caseload spans MSK, nail surgery, general care, and wound care, with strong surgical and MSK demand. No aged care facility visits. No home visits.

Clinicians do their best work when they're not drowning in admin. So we built support around you: a full reception team and allied health assistants who handle prep, stock and the hundred small tasks that eat your day.

A career, not just a job

Senior Podiatrist is where our career ladder forks into two genuine pathways:

- Clinical expertise: progress to Consultant, leading through deep expertise, protocols, teaching and research. No management required.
- People leadership: progress to Clinical Team Lead and beyond, leading teams and shaping how the practice runs.

Both pathways have equal standing. Progression is transparent and earned, based on what you demonstrate rather than tenure or politics. Why Modern Medicine?

- Transparent salary with uncapped bonus
- Protected time for mentoring and your special interest area
- Full administrative and reception support
- A friendly multidisciplinary team who actually talk to each other
- Paid team meetings, professional development time and funding that actually gets used
- Genuine flexibility for travel, family and life

- Clinical trial opportunities
- Shockwave therapy (radial and focused), Class 4 laser, PACT, SWIFT and creative orthotic technology
- Opportunities to work with sports teams

- Team events and activities
- Visa sponsorship for eligible candidates

What we're looking for Someone who genuinely cares about doing the best they can, wants to continue to improve, and gains satisfaction from helping others get better too. They need to be organised and follow through.

You'll bring

- General registration with the Podiatry Board of Australia (AHPRA)
- Several years of clinical experience, with confidence across general, MSK, nail surgery and wound care
- A caseload history that shows ownership: clear plans, strong rebooking and patients who finish care well
- Experience supporting or mentoring other clinicians, formally or informally
- A clinical area you're passionate about, or want to build
- A current Working With Children Check and Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

We are an equal-opportunity employer and welcome applications from all qualified individuals.
