I’m recruiting a newly created Senior Product Manager, Transactions & Card Products position within the Everyday Banking division of a major financial services organisation. This role sits within the Transactions & Cards portfolio and will have direct accountability across product performance, customer outcomes, risk, controls and governance.

It’s a strong opportunity for an experienced banking product professional looking for broad ownership across the full product lifecycle, with the opportunity to solve complex product and customer challenges in a highly regulated setting.

The role

Working across Product, Risk, Legal, frontline teams and other business areas, you’ll take ownership of transaction and card products throughout their lifecycle, balancing customer outcomes, commercial performance and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include:

- Own products across the full product lifecycle
- Monitor product performance and customer outcomes
- Lead product lifecycle reviews and ensure products continue to meet target market requirements
- Manage product risk, controls,



incidents and governance requirements
- Partner with Risk, Legal and frontline teams on complex product matters
- Support regulatory change and new regulatory requirements
- Manage remediation activity and product-related issues
- Identify opportunities to improve products, processes and customer outcomes
- Bring stakeholders together to solve complex problems and drive decisions
- Support broader portfolio priorities across Transactions & Cards

What we’re looking for:

- Strong product management experience within banking or financial services
- Experience across transaction accounts, debit cards, payments, deposits or everyday banking highly regarded
- Strong understanding of first-line risk, product controls and governance
- Exposure to regulatory requirements, product reviews and customer outcome obligations
- Experience working across the full product lifecycle
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability
- Confidence bringing together Product, Risk, Legal and frontline stakeholders
- Strong stakeholder management skills within a complex organisation
- Broader regulated financial services or insurance product experience will also be considered where relevant
