Senior Cyber Security Advisor (Azure | IAM | Security Architecture)

Melbourne (Hybrid) | 6-month contract, with extension up to 2 years

A major ASX-Listed organisation is looking for a Senior Cyber Security Advisor to a stream that is focused on secure delivery. You’ll help solution delivery initiatives go from idea to secure deployment, across bespoke builds and SaaS, mostly in Azure.

What you’ll be doing

- Being the security voice early in delivery, so issues are raised before a supplier is chosen or a design is locked in
- Reviewing and endorsing high-level solution designs against cyber security standards, including IAM, vulnerability management, secure configuration, and logging and monitoring
- Connecting delivery teams with the right security services (IAM, SOC, logging) and making sure they’re built into the solution




- Giving security endorsement at architecture forums and change advisory boards
- Working with architects, engineers, developers and managers, and helping them deliver securely rather than blocking them

What you’ll bring

- A background in engineering or security architecture or a technical cyber role, with robust advisory or consulting experience.
- Solid Azure knowledge, especially Entra ID, SSO and cloud security.
- Broad technical understanding across several cyber domains, rather than deep focus on just one
- Experience applying standards and frameworks such as NIST, plus familiarity with the SOCI Act.
