Miaz Solutions As a senior software engineer, you will build responsive front end interfaces, robust back end services, scalable APIs, and AI-powered applications. You will apply software engineering best practices to design and develop secure, maintainable, and scalable solutions that meet business requirements. You will work closely with a Tech Lead and Product Owner.

You will be involved from requirements gathering and estimation through to delivery and support, including software architecture, coding, testing, code reviews, deployment, and maintenance. You will also contribute in integrating AI capabilities into applications, including AI agents, third-party integrations, and automation, leveraging modern technologies to improve functionality, automate processes, and deliver business value.

responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications across frontend, backend, and full stack environments following standard software engineering principles, coding standards, and architectural guidelines. Analyse business and technical requirements, translating them into technical specifications, component designs, implementation plans, and testable development tasks. Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces, robust back end services, REST APIs, and database integrations to deliver reliable, high quality software solutions.

Build and maintain APIs and integrate third party services and external platforms to extend application capabilities. Develop and integrate AI enabled software capabilities by integrating large language models (LLMs), APIs, AI agents, and workflow automation into existing applications and business processes. Explore and implement AI assisted development practices to improve engineering productivity, automate repetitive tasks, and support scalable and optimised application functionality.

Design, develop, and integrate 3D applications, interactive visualisations,



and real time rendering capabilities using suitable 3D engines, graphics frameworks, and development tools. Develop and optimise software components for performance, responsiveness, memory efficiency, and reliable operation across target platforms and deployment environments. Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, version control, build processes, and deployment workflows to enable consistent, efficient software delivery to support agile software development with automated QA and testing.

Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, design assessments, and cooperative development activities to maintain engineering standards and promote knowledge sharing. Investigate and resolve bugs, production incidents, and customer reported issues, documenting root causes, corrective actions, and preventative improvements Collaborate with software engineers, AI specialists, designers, product owners, and other technical stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business objectives Prepare and maintain technical documentation, specifications, software design notes, test plans, deployment procedures, and system architecture documentation. Evaluate emerging software technologies, AI frameworks, and 3D development tools to identify opportunities for innovation, automation, and improved product capabilities.

Manage configuration identification, and change management for assigned software components, ensuring traceability, consistency, and compliance with established engineering standards Contribute to technical project planning, effort estimation, task prioritisation, progress monitoring, and status reporting to support the timely delivery of assigned work and deliverables. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the team through training, code reviews, knowledge sharing,



and best practice guidance. Drive software architecture and technical decision making, establish engineering standards, and coordinate team efforts to deliver scalable, reliable, and maintainable software solutions aligned with project objectives.

Qualification &

experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent qualifications. At least five years of professional software engineering experience. Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with commercial experience of developing scalable, responsive applications using React, Angular or NextJS.

Proven and production experience of designing, developing, and maintaining back end services, REST APIs, and distributed application components using Node.js, C#/.NET, Python, or equivalent technologies. Familiarity in integrating AI capabilities into software applications using large language models (LLMs), AI APIs, and AI service platforms. Understanding of prompt engineering, structured outputs, AI-powered workflows, and the practical application of generative AI to solve business problems.

Familiarity with AI agents, tool calling, multi-step workflows, and integrating AI services with existing APIs, databases, and enterprise applications to deliver intelligent and automated functionality. Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, modular development, reusable components, API design, and scalable application design principles.

Experience in developing and maintaining functional and technical requirements and specifications.

Experience with AWS or Azure, cloud deployments, configuration management, and application monitoring. Familiarity with automated build, testing, and deployment pipelines, version control, and CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD.
