We are seeking an experienced Sharepoint Engineer to join a major cloud transformation program focused on the migration, implementation, and optimisation of SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 services.

This role is ideal for an engineer who has successfully delivered SharePoint Online migration projects and is comfortable working across technical implementation, migration tooling, identity integration, testing, remediation, and stakeholder engagement.

You will play a key role in planning and executing migrations from legacy platforms into Microsoft 365 while ensuring secure, scalable, and well-governed solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver end-to-end SharePoint Online migration activities.
- Configure, administer, and support SharePoint Online environments.
- Execute migration activities for:
- SharePoint sites and content
- OneDrive data
- User identities and permissions
- Configure and support Microsoft 365 technologies including:
- SharePoint Online
- OneDrive
- Microsoft Teams
- Exchange Online
- Microsoft Entra ID
- Microsoft Copilot
- Perform migration discovery, assessment, planning, testing, and remediation activities.
- Configure and maintain identity and access management controls.
- Work closely with infrastructure and security teams to manage dependencies and integrations.
- Develop technical documentation, migration runbooks, support artefacts, and service transition documentation.
- Provide troubleshooting and technical support throughout migration and transition activities.
- Engage with project teams, architects, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery outcomes.

Essential Experience

- NV1 Security Clearance
- Demonstrated experience delivering SharePoint Online migration projects.
- Strong experience administering and configuring SharePoint Online in enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience migrating:
- SharePoint Online sites
- File shares and document repositories
- OneDrive content




- User permissions and identities
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 technologies including:
- SharePoint Online
- OneDrive
- Exchange Online
- Teams
- Entra ID
- Microsoft Copilot
- Experience with Azure and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Strong understanding of identity and access management principles.
- Experience producing migration documentation, runbooks, support procedures, and transition artefacts.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Highly Desirable

- Experience with migration tools such as:
- ShareGate
- Quest On Demand Migration
- Microsoft Migration Manager
- SharePoint Migration Tool (SPMT)
- AvePoint Fly
- Experience migrating large-scale enterprise SharePoint environments.
- Experience delivering Microsoft 365 transformations within government or highly regulated environments.
- Microsoft certifications such as:
- MS-102 Microsoft 365 Administrator
- MS-700 Teams Administrator
- SC-300 Identity and Access Administrator
- AZ-104 Azure Administrator
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert

What We're Looking For The successful candidate will have proven experience delivering SharePoint Online migrations at scale, with the ability to navigate technical challenges, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure successful transition into Microsoft 365.

- OneDrive migration experience
- Entra ID and identity management expertise
