/nAn exciting opportunity for a design-focused sales skilled to join a growing boutique tile business launching its first Melbourne showroom./n

/nYou will work with homeowners, architects, designers and builders to deliver unique design solutions. This is a consultative sales role for someone with a strong track record is showroom sales and a passion for design, strong relationship-building skills and the commercial drive to turn creative ideas into sales.Melbourne | Full-Time/n

About the Role

/n

/nAs the face of the Melbourne showroom, you'll play a key role in establishing the brand's presence, delivering an exceptional customer experience and driving sales./n

/nWorking closely with customers and industry professionals, you'll provide product advice, guide design selections and recommend tailored solutions while confidently managing the sales process, following up opportunities and closing sales./n

/n /n

/nWorking directly with the business owners, you'll receive hands-on support and training while taking ownership of the showroom's day-to-day operations, customer relationships and sales performance./n

/n

Your role

/n

/n /n

- Build relationships with homeowners, architects, interior designers and builders.

/n

- Provide a consultative showroom experience, recommending products to suit customer needs.

/n

- Guide customers through tile selections, colours, textures, patterns and layouts.

/n

- Assist with mood boards, layouts and product mock-ups.

/n

- Develop industry relationships to generate new business opportunities.

/n

- Manage enquiries, prepare quotes and follow up leads to build the sales pipeline.

/n

- Manage the full sales process,



from initial consultation through to negotiation and closing sales.

/n

- Convert showroom enquiries into orders through proactive follow-up and strong customer relationships.

/n

- Maintain showroom presentation, product displays and visual merchandising.

/n /n

About You

/n

/n /n

- Previous experience in showroom sales, retail, consultative sales or a similar customer-facing role.

/n

- Background in Interior Design, Styling, Architecture or a related creative field is highly regarded.

/n

- Strong appreciation for design, colour, textures, materials and spatial presentation.

/n

- Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships with customers and industry professionals.

/n

- Strong sales skills, with the ability to manage the sales process, follow up leads and close opportunities.

/n

- Customer-focused with a strong commercial mindset and a natural ability to influence purchasing decisions.

/n

- Excellent communication, organisational skills and attention to detail.

/n

- Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable working autonomously.
