Smoky's Bar and Grill

Smoky's Bar and Grill is looking for a friendly, energetic and customer-focused Front of House Team Member to join our team.

We are seeking someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment, takes pride in delivering excellent customer service and understands the importance of creating a great dining experience for every guest.

This is a full table service role, requiring confidence in taking orders, delivering food and beverages, looking after guests throughout their dining experience and keeping the restaurant clean and presentable.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcoming guests and providing friendly, attentive customer service.

- Managing full table service from greeting guests through to payment and farewell.

- Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.

- Delivering food and drinks to tables in a timely manner.

- Checking in with guests to ensure they are enjoying their meals and have everything they need.

- Clearing and resetting tables promptly and maintaining a clean dining environment.

- Processing payments and handling customer transactions.

- Communicating effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.

- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation across the front of house, including dining areas and service stations.





- Following responsible service of alcohol guidelines at all times.

Essential Requirements

- Current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) competency card – essential.

- Previous hospitality or table service experience preferred.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

- Ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment.

- Strong attention to detail and a professional presentation.

- Availability to work a combination of weekdays, evenings and weekends.
