Solar & Battery Installation Scheduler

Stag Electrical | Australia-Based | Remote | Full-Time Hours

Stag Electrical is looking for an experienced Installation Scheduler to coordinate solar and battery installations across multiple Australian states.

We're an established, growing solar and battery installation business with a large network of installation contractors.

We need someone who is highly organised, communicates confidently with customers and contractors, and takes ownership of getting installations booked and ready to proceed.

Previous experience scheduling installations in the solar, electrical or trades industry is essential.

About the role

You'll be responsible for coordinating installations from the point a job is ready for scheduling through to the confirmed installation date.

This is a busy, hands-on coordination role requiring strong communication, attention to detail and consistent follow-through.

Key responsibilities

Installation scheduling

- Coordinate installation dates between customers and our network of contractors across Australia.

- Contact contractors to confirm availability and allocate suitable installation dates.

- Communicate with customers by phone, SMS and email to arrange and confirm installations.

- Manage scheduling changes, cancellations and contractor availability issues.

- Follow up outstanding responses to keep installations moving.

- Identify scheduling problems early and escalate issues requiring management assistance.

Job-specific materials ordering

- Review the materials required for each scheduled installation.

- Raise and manage purchase orders for materials required for individual jobs.

- Coordinate materials supplied directly to jobs or allocated from existing warehouse stock.

- Confirm material availability and delivery arrangements before installation.

- Liaise with suppliers and warehouses to ensure materials are ready when required.

- Identify and escalate shortages, incorrect equipment or delivery delays.

This role does not include bulk warehouse purchasing, general inventory replenishment or stocktake management.

Job coordination and administration

- Maintain accurate installation dates, job notes, contractor details and material orders in Simpro, Monday.com and other company systems.

- Ensure customers and contractors receive the information they need before installation.

- Monitor upcoming installations and follow up outstanding confirmations.

- Work with our technical, inventory and customer service teams to resolve issues.

- Maintain clear records so other team members can easily understand the status of each job.

About you

We're looking for someone who:

- Has proven experience coordinating installations, preferably in solar and battery systems.

- Is highly organised and comfortable managing multiple jobs simultaneously.

- Communicates confidently and professionally with customers,

installers and suppliers.

- Is proactive about following up rather than waiting for someone to chase them.

- Can work independently and consistently during agreed working hours.

- Takes responsibility for completing tasks and maintaining accurate records.

- Is comfortable working across multiple systems and managing a high volume of communications.

- Can identify problems, prioritise urgent issues and escalate appropriately.

Experience with Simpro, Monday.com or similar job management systems would be highly regarded.

Knowledge of solar and battery equipment, installation processes and electrical contracting would be an advantage.

What we offer

- Work from home with an established Australian solar and battery business.

- A busy, established installation pipeline.

- An experienced team of electrical, technical and operational staff.

- Established contractor and supplier relationships.

- Modern systems and ongoing investment in process improvement and automation.

- Competitive remuneration based on experience.

How to apply

Please submit your resume and a brief explanation of your installation scheduling experience.

We'd particularly like to hear:

- What types of installations you've scheduled.

- Approximately how many installations you've coordinated per week.

- Which job management systems you've used.

- Whether you've been responsible for ordering materials directly for installations.

We're looking for someone who can take ownership of scheduling, maintain accurate records and consistently get the job done.
