Furnhouse is a rapid-growing furniture wholesale and retail brand committed to delivering quality living, dining, and bedroom solutions to Australian households. We are currently seeking an experienced, high-energy, and results-driven Store Manager to take full operational and sales leadership of our Furnhouse Thomastown showroom.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive Conversions: Lead by example on the retail floor, greeting customers, understanding furniture needs, and closing high-value sales.
- Hit Sales Targets: Meet and exceed store sales targets, average order values (AOV), and gross margin benchmarks.
- Local Marketing & Reviews: Actively drive our in-store review strategy, guiding the team to encourage customers to mention specific product keywords (e.g., "electric recliner" or "dining suite") in Google reviews to boost local map rankings.
- Visual Merchandising: Maintain pristine showroom layout standards, lighting, and product displays.
- Team Management: Coach floor staff, manage effective rosters aligned with peak traffic, and ensure high accountability and customer service standards.
- Inventory & Operations:



Oversee stock receipts, floor transfers, warranty/defect reporting, and daily store security.

Key Selection Criteria
- Minimum 3–5 years of retail store management experience, ideally within bulky goods, furniture, or high-ticket retail.
- Proven track record of lifting retail conversion rates and hitting sales KPIs.
- Exceptional communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
- Tech-literate with experience using POS systems and inventory software.
- Availability to work standard retail trading hours, including weekends.

Pay: $52,880.00 – $87,380.00 per year
