White’s IGA is looking for an accomplished Store Manager to lead the day-to-day excellence at our Mooloolah Valley Store. Combining hands-on leadership with strong commercial judgement, you will inspire your team, champion outstanding standards and ensure customers remain at the centre of every decision. Reporting to the Operations Manager and Company Directors, you will lead all store departments and team members. You will be accountable for customer experience, people leadership, store operations, compliance and financial performance across sales, gross profit, wages, cost control and shrinkage.

What you’ll do

- Lead, coach and develop department managers and team members to deliver strong performance and exceptional service.
- Create a welcoming customer experience and maintain high standards of presentation and merchandising.
- Manage staffing levels to support effective store coverage and service delivery.
- Achieve or exceed budget targets across sales, gross profit, wages, cost control and shrinkage.
- Maintain appropriate stock levels and ensure monthly stocktakes are completed accurately and on time.
- Deliver marketing and merchandising programs effectively across the store.
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, workplace health and safety, trade practices, industrial awards, weights and measures, and company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate,



timely documentation and make sound decisions in a fast-paced retail environment.

About you
- You bring at least 3–5 years’ store management experience in a supermarket environment (independent experience is highly regarded).
- You have proven financial management capability across sales, gross profit, wages and cost control.
- You are a credible, visible leader who can motivate, coach and develop a diverse store team.
- You have strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety, workplace health and safety, weights and measures, and trade practices.
- You combine sound judgement and advanced problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail, accuracy and integrity.
- You communicate clearly, build positive working relationships and are confident using retail and computer systems.
- Experience in the independent supermarket sector will be highly regarded, as will a Certificate IV or Diploma in Retail Management, an undergraduate qualification in Business, or an equivalent qualification.
