About the Role Pilecom is seeking an organised and proactive Storeperson to join our team and support the delivery of our solar construction projects.
You will be responsible for managing site materials, equipment, inventory and deliveries, ensuring our construction teams have the resources they need to keep projects running efficiently.
This is a hands on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast paced environment, takes ownership of their work and has excellent attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect and record incoming materials, equipment and deliveries.
- Coordinate the storage, movement and distribution of materials across site.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock registers.
- Monitor stock levels and identify shortages or replenishment requirements.
- Coordinate deliveries and liaise with suppliers, transport providers and site teams.
- Assist with loading, unloading and movement of materials using appropriate equipment.
- Maintain an organised, clean and safe storage and laydown area.
- Conduct regular stocktakes and investigate discrepancies.
- Support project teams with materials tracking and logistics requirements.
- Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and company policies.
About You We are looking for someone who is reliable, practical and comfortable working independently in a busy construction environment.
To be successful, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a Storeperson, Warehouse or Logistics role.
- Experience working in construction, mining or a similar industry.
- Robust organisational and time management skills.
- Experience with inventory management and stock control.
- Confidence using computers and inventory tracking systems.
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solving.
- A current driver's licence.
- A valid Construction White Card.
- A forklift licence (LF), highly regarded.
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
