We are seeking a highly motivated Civil Engineer to join our Darlinghurst team. This multidisciplinary role combines civil and stormwater engineering principles, with a focus on the design, assessment, modelling and optimisation of stormwater management and treatment systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Design & Analysis: Undertake the design and modelling of stormwater management systems for residential and commercial developments in accordance with Australian Standards and local council DCPs, including On-Site Detention (OSD), Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) and filtration systems. Conduct audits, condition assessments and primary treatment modelling for Gross Pollutant Traps (GPTs).
- - Site Investigations: Conduct site inspections, assess drainage and site conditions, and undertake in-situ hydraulic conductivity testing to support stormwater and WSUD design.
- - Technical Documentation: Prepare high-quality technical reports, including flood mitigation studies, compliance audits, and project estimates.
- - Project Collaboration: Work alongside other engineers, contractors, and clients to implement sustainable solutions that meet strict regulatory and environmental standards.
- - Asset Management: Support the scheduling of construction and maintenance for stormwater infrastructure to ensure "whole-of-life" compliance.

What We’re Looking For

- Minimum Qualifications::



A professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, (recognised by Engineers Australia).
- Experience Requirements: Two to three years post-qualification professional experience in residential and commercial stormwater and civil design.
- Technical Skills: High proficiency in AutoCAD is essential. Competency in stormwater modeling software (e.g., MUSIC, DRAINS or HECRAS) is required.
- Interests: A genuine passion for water sustainability, urban resilience, and creative treatment processes.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a keen eye for detail and a "quick learner" mindset.
- Practicality: The ability to apply engineering theory to solve real-world drainage and environmental problems.
