Join the growing team at DEFRIES INDUSTRIES as a full time Storeperson based in Dandenong South, Monday to Friday 7:30am – 3:30pm.
You will play an important part in ensuring the safe and efficient supply of medical consumables while maintaining accurate inventory and stock control.
Key responsibilities
- Pick, pack and dispatch orders accurately and efficiently.
- Move and transfer stock using equipment such as Double Reach/Counterbalance forklifts and WAV units.
- Maintain stock levels and assist with regular stocktakes.
- Monitor inventory and report stock shortages or discrepancies.
- Receive, check and store incoming stock.
- Hand unload containers on a daily basis.
- Ensure warehouse areas are clean, organised and safe.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
About you
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Possess a current forklift license.
- Robust attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and comfortable with warehouse duties.
- Good communication and time-management skills.
- Previous warehouse or stores experience is an advantage.
