We’re hiring: Strategic Program Manager, Data Center and AI

This is a senior delivery role for someone who has taken large, complex infrastructure builds from order to customer acceptance and wants to do it at AI scale. You’ll own multi-site data center and AI programs valued at $25M+ each, leading a matrixed team of 50+ across WWT, OEM, integrator, logistics, field and customer organisations. The role will be based in Sydney or Melbourne with most of the week spent at customer sites.

What you’ll do

- Own program outcomes across receive, rack, cable, configure, validate and customer acceptance, with transparent exit criteria at every stage
- Manage integrated milestones, dependencies, risks and escalations across data halls, sites and workstreams, and drive them to closure
- Reconcile ordered, received, installed, validated and accepted quantities against the bill of materials and statement of work
- Hold OEM, integrator,



logistics and field partners accountable for delivery commitments and quality
- Own program budget, forecast, revenue, cost and margin, taking corrective action to meet financial commitments
- Run program governance and executive reporting from live delivery data, and drive adoption of our delivery system as the single source of truth
- Manage scope drift through formal change control, lead commercial negotiations, and develop and estimate client statements of work
- Lead and coach Project Managers, own staffing and resource plans, and build delivery discipline across the team

What you’ll bring

- Hands-on experience delivering physical data center, AI, HPC, GPU or compute-cluster builds, including data hall deployment and customer acceptance
- 10+ years of delivery experience, including 5+ years leading complex, multi-site programs
- Proven ownership of programs valued at $25M+, with full budget, forecast, revenue, cost and margin accountability
- Experience leading matrixed teams, Project Managers, OEMs, integrators, logistics providers and field crews across multiple sites
- Strong financial acumen, plus a solid grasp of contracts, change control, procurement and negotiation
- Executive-level communication, presentation and facilitation skills
- Willingness to travel, maintain regular on-site presence, and support Australia/APAC delivery hours when required
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience

Nice to have

- PMP certification
- 1–3 years of sales or business development experience, particularly in statement-of-work development and estimation
- Experience with field capture and workflow platforms such as Smartsheet
