Strategy & M&A; Analyst – ASX-Listed Business

We’re excited to be working with a global ASX-listed business in Sydney who is looking for an Analyst to join its Sydney-based Group Strategy & Valuation team. The role sits within the broader finance and strategy function and supports the organisation’s corporate strategy and growth agenda, with exposure to strategic initiatives, valuation, investment analysis and end-to-end M&A.; The opportunity provides broad responsibility across financial modelling for investments and major acquisitions, maintenance of the corporate model, transaction and investment reviews, scenario and sensitivity analysis, and preparation of materials for executive leadership and the Board.



The Analyst will also contribute to market, competitor and macroeconomic analysis, alongside ad hoc strategic projects, providing exposure to senior decision-makers across a complex global business.

Candidates are expected to have 2-4 years of experience across investment banking, corporate advisory, Big 4 advisory, or corporate finance. Robust financial modelling and valuation capability, including DCF analysis, advanced Excel and a sound understanding of the three financial statements, is required.
