About the role An established engineering consultancy located in Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join the team, with an immediate start available. The successful applicant will have a minimum of 5 years' local Australian experience and the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, from small residential developments to medium-scale residential, commercial and industrial projects.

Key responsibilities

- Preparing structural engineering designs, calculations and documentation for residential, multi-unit, commercial and industrial projects.

- Working closely with the team of design engineers and drafters to deliver projects efficiently and to a high standard.





- Ensuring all designs comply with relevant Australian Standards and building codes.

About you

- Minimum 5 years' local structural engineering experience.

- Proficiency in engineering software such as SpaceGass, RAPT, Toolkit and similar programs.

- Robust knowledge and understanding of Australian Standards and relevant design codes.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical and technical skills.

- Strong organisational and time-management skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
