We are seeking a Superintendent Tyre Performance Specialist to join our team in Kewdale, WA on a full-time basis Monday to Friday. This is a strategic leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of tyre performance management and optimisation across mining operations.

As Superintendent Tyre Performance

Specialist, you will play a critical role in reducing operational costs, extending equipment life, and ensuring optimal fleet performance. This position is essential to our operations, providing expert guidance and oversight to maximise tyre efficiency and manage tyre-related risks across our client portfolio.

Key responsibilities

- Develop and implement comprehensive tyre management strategies and performance standards across mining operations
- Monitor and analyse tyre performance metrics, identifying trends and recommending corrective actions to optimise tyre life and reduce costs
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of tyre maintenance practices and equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Lead and mentor team members responsible for tyre maintenance, repair, and replacement programmes
- Liaise with equipment operators, maintenance crews,



and management to communicate tyre performance requirements and best practices
- Manage tyre inventory and procurement processes, ensuring cost-effective sourcing and timely availability
- Investigate and resolve tyre-related failures or performance issues, implementing preventative measures
- Develop training programmes and documentation to promote tyre care awareness and proper handling procedures
- Prepare detailed performance reports and recommendations for senior management and stakeholders
- Stay current with industry innovations and emerging technologies in tyre performance management

About you:

- 5+ years of experience in tyre management, fleet operations, or equipment maintenance within the mining or resources sector
- Proven track record in tyre performance optimisation and cost reduction initiatives
- Strong leadership and team management experience with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- In-depth knowledge of heavy-duty tyre specifications, maintenance protocols, and industry best practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret performance data and implement data-driven solutions
- Proficiency in fleet management systems and tyre monitoring technologies
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings and recommendations to diverse stakeholder groups




- Relevant certifications or qualifications in fleet management, equipment maintenance, or related disciplines
- Demonstrated understanding of safety standards and regulatory compliance in mining operations
- Experience with budget management and cost control
- Willingness to work flexible hours if needed and travel to operational sites as required
