BIELBY GROUP
Australia
Bielby is experiencing a period of sustained growth, supported by a solid pipeline of major infrastructure opportunities and continued expansion into new regions. Building on over 40 years of successful major project delivery, we are seeking experienced Civil Supervisors to join our team in NSW and be part of the first major infrastructure project win in NSW.
Bielby has been awarded the Kempsey-Armidale Road Restoration Project (K2A) by Armidale Regional Council, marking our first major award since establishing a permanent NSW presence in early 2026. It also represents our largest infrastructure restoration and recovery contract to date, a key pillar of Bielby’s growth and diversification strategy.
The project will restore 43 kilometres of Kempsey-Armidale Road and a five-kilometre section of Lower Creek Road following damage caused by the 2019 bushfires and subsequent flood events in 2020 and 2022. Once complete, the works will help reconnect communities, support regional industries and improve the resilience of an important transport corridor linking Armidale with the NSW coast.
You will be part of a $400M major regional infrastructure project that will restore and strengthen critical transport links across regional New South Wales. More importantly, it is an opportunity to play a key role in Bielby's strategic expansion within NSW.
Reporting to the General Superintendent, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site activities and personnel in your area of responsibility. There are multiple roles available in the areas of drainage, paving and structures and batching.
You will have relevant experience in each of those areas and be willing to do a regional roster.
What You'll Do

- Manage the workforce to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime
- Assist in procuring materials and subcontractors in a timely manner
- Ensure daily costing is accurate, timely and complete
- Ensure compliance to legislative requirements
- Manage construction activities to ensure progress is tracking to program
- Undertake toolbox meetings and complete pre-start checklists.
- Liaise with the client or the client's representative.
What You'll Bring
- Relevant experience as a Construction Supervisor on a medium or large civil job
- Proven experience in leading a direct and indirect workforce
- Strong safety understanding and acumen
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize the workload
- Customer focussed attitude with good communication skills
- Teamworking skills and ability to collaborate with others.
