We are seeking a caring and experienced Disability Support Worker to support an 8-year-old boy with complex care needs in St Clair. This casual role suits someone who provides secure, respectful and person-centred support and works closely with the participant’s family and support team.

Required skills and experience

- High-level personal care, including personal hygiene and continence support
- Hoist transfers, repositioning and wheelchair assistance
- Manual handling and safe transfer techniques
- Bowel and catheter care
- PEG feeding
- Positioning and pressure-area care
- Assistance with daily living activities
- Following participant-specific support plans and procedures
- Monitoring and reporting changes in health and wellbeing
- Completing accurate shift notes and documentation
- Working collaboratively with the participant, family and support team

Available shifts

- Tuesday: 3:00 pm–6:00 pm
- Friday: 3:00 pm–6:00 pm, alternating with 6:00 pm–11:00 pm
- Saturday: 9:30 am–5:30 pm
- School holidays: Day shifts available

Apply now Pay: $40.00 – $46.00 per hour
