We're seeking a skilled Survey Technician/Draftsperson to prepare survey plans for Land Use Victoria requirements and produce transparent, professional plans for client presentation. You'll work under the supervision of management to prepare accurate plans that meet project and client requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D survey/engineering construction drawings in AutoCAD using survey data, field information and project specifications. Interpret survey records, measurements, coordinates and project documentation to ensure drawing accuracy and completeness, and review drawings and supporting documents for compliance with project requirements, relevant regulations and client standards.
- Prepare survey plans and cadastral documentation in accordance with Land Use Victoria requirements and relevant surveying standards.
- Ability to prepare services investigation plans identifying existing underground and above-ground services, including water, sewer, stormwater, electricity, gas and telecommunications infrastructure.
- Liaise with surveyors, project managers and other relevant personnel to clarify technical details, coordinate drafting requirements and maintain drawing accuracy, consistency and quality while meeting project deadlines.
Experience
Previous experience in surveying documentation, cadastral drafting and construction-related drafting will be highly regarded.
