Are you ridiculously resourceful? Can you track down almost anyone, organise just about anything and turn an ambitious idea into reality?
We’re looking for a highly organised, curious and energetic person to help bring our growing lineup of podcasts, major events and creative productions to life.
From securing extraordinary podcast guests and coordinating high-profile talent to organising ambitious events and unusual shoots, no two weeks will look the same.
This isn’t your typical production assistant role. We need someone who loves the chase, thrives on variety and knows how to get things done.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Talent sourcing and pitching: Researching, approaching and securing fascinating podcast guests, athletes, personalities and other talent.
Events and productions: Helping plan and coordinate exciting events, creative activations, podcast recordings and content shoots.
Research: Finding extraordinary people, untold stories, interesting topics and recent creative opportunities.
Logistics: Organising flights, accommodation, transport, schedules, locations, equipment and suppliers.
Talent relationships: Liaising with agents, managers, publicists, sponsors and guests, including managing outreach and follow-ups.
Creative problem-solving: Tracking down unusual equipment, props, locations and whatever else is needed to bring an idea to life.
Production support: Making sure everything is organised before, during and after shoots and events.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re more interested in your attitude and resourcefulness than your qualifications.
You’ll be someone who
Is incredibly resourceful and doesn’t take no for an answer easily.
Has the confidence to pick up the phone and pitch someone they’ve never met.
Is naturally curious about people, stories and the world.
Is exceptionally organised and can manage multiple moving parts.
Loves researching, investigating and finding creative solutions.
Takes initiative and doesn’t need constant direction.
Is comfortable working in a fast-paced, sometimes unpredictable environment.
Has a great sense of humour, plenty of energy and a genuine passion for creating memorable experiences.
Experience in events, media, podcasting, talent management or production is a bonus, but not essential.
We’d rather hire someone who’s exceptionally resourceful and hungry to learn than someone with an impressive CV but no initiative.
WHY JOIN US?
Based on the Gold Coast, you’ll be involved in an exciting mix of podcasts, major events, talent collaborations and creative projects.
You’ll work with fascinating people, help develop unconventional ideas and play a genuine role in bringing ambitious productions to life.
This is an opportunity for someone who wants variety, responsibility and the chance to build something exciting.
HOW TO APPLY
Send us your CV and a short introduction explaining why you’d be great for the role.
Bonus challenge: Tell us how you’d go about securing a seemingly impossible podcast guest. We’re interested in how you think and how resourceful you can be.
If you’re the person everyone calls when they need something impossible organised, we want to hear from you.
