We are currently seeking an experienced Quality & Safety Manager / Area Manager to join our team in Queensland.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced early childhood professional to support multiple centres, strengthen quality and compliance practices, and work closely with Centre Directors and senior leadership to maintain high standards of education, care and safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee quality assurance, regulatory compliance and operational standards across multiple centres.
- Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standard (NQS) and relevant legislation.
- Support Assessment and Rating processes, audits and Quality Improvement Plans (QIPs).
- Monitor incidents, complaints and risks, ensuring appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
- Champion child safety and safeguarding practices across all services.
- Provide guidance and support to Centre Directors and Nominated Supervisors on quality and operational matters.
- Review policies, procedures and quality management systems to drive consistency and continuous improvement.




- Analyse performance data, identify improvement opportunities and report on compliance and operational risks.

About You

- Previous experience in the early childhood education and care sector is essential.
- Experience in a senior childcare leadership, quality, compliance or multi-site operational role.
- Strong understanding of the NQF, NQS and early childhood regulatory requirements.
- Experience with audits, Assessment and Rating, and Quality Improvement Plans.
- Knowledge of child safety, safeguarding and risk management.
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple centres.
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement and a genuine commitment to child safety and high-quality education and care.
