Join Portable Home Builders Australia as a full-time carpenter working on prefabricated and expandable home installations. The work includes in office carpentry and finishing, as well as building decks, stairs, ramps and handrails across projects in Victoria and interstate.

Key responsibilities

* Interpret construction drawings and set out carpentry work to project specifications.

* Measure, cut, assemble and install timber framing, trims and other building components.

* Construct timber decks and access structures, including stairs, ramps and handrails.

* Work with the site crew to fit and finish prefabricated building components.

* Check levels, alignment and workmanship, and raise issues with the site supervisor.

* Follow site safety procedures and operate tools and equipment safely.

Requirements

* Relevant carpentry qualification or equivalent practical experience.

* Demonstrated site carpentry experience and the ability to read construction drawings.

* Current White Card and availability for interstate travel.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a small site crew.
