North-Eastern Montessori School (NEMS) welcomes applications from passionate, adaptable educators interested in teaching within our primary and middle years programs.

We are seeking a reflective teacher who builds strong relationships, brings learning to life and supports students to develop curiosity, independence and confidence.

Teaching responsibilities will be determined with consideration of the successful applicant’s qualifications, experience and strengths, alongside the school’s staffing and program needs.

· Experience in primary and/or middle years education.

· A commitment to student wellbeing, professional growth and constructive partnerships with families.

Montessori qualifications or experience would be highly regarded. We also welcome applications from educators interested in developing their understanding and practice of Montessori education.

We offer a competitive salary package at above-award level. For this position we offer salary range between $80,500- $110,000 per annum, based on skills, experience, and qualifications.

Employment basis: Fixed-term for 1 year, with the potential to transition to a full-time ongoing position.
