We are seeking an enthusiastic and faith‑filled Religious Education Teacher (Secondary) to join our vibrant learning community. The successful applicant will demonstrate strong curriculum knowledge, contemporary pedagogical practice, and a commitment to fostering student engagement, wellbeing and faith formation. They will also embrace and uphold the Catholic ethos that guides all aspects of College life.

About the Role

We are seeking a Secondary Religious Education Teacher who can deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate learning programs across the Religious Education learning area. The ideal candidate will inspire students to explore faith, scripture, ethics and Catholic tradition, while contributing to their academic, spiritual and personal growth. This is a full‑time, ongoing position commencing in Term 1, 2027.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver high‑quality Religious Education programs aligned to the CEWA Religious Education Curriculum
- Create a positive, inclusive and well‑managed classroom environment that supports student engagement and wellbeing
- Use evidence‑based teaching strategies to support diverse learners
- Assess learning accurately and provide timely, constructive feedback aligned to CEWA and SCSA expectations
- Model and promote the Catholic ethos, values and pastoral care principles of the College
- Support student faith formation through liturgical participation, prayer and reflective practice




- Engage in ongoing professional learning and contribute to cocurricular and whole‑school activities
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with students, families and colleagues
- Uphold Child‑Safe School guidelines and prioritise the safety and wellbeing of all students

Qualifications & Requirements

- Current TRBWA registration
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Secondary Education
- Accreditation to Teach Religious Education (or working towards accreditation)
- Current Working with Children Check
- Commitment to the CEWA Child‑Safe Framework
