Luv-a-Duck is looking for a motivated and reliable Team Leader – Packaging to join our production team at our Ballarat facility.

About the Role

As Team Leader – Packaging, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the packaging team, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high standards of food safety, quality and workplace safety whilst also being hands-on.

You will work closely with the Production Supervisor to ensure the packaging lines operate efficiently and employees receive the support and guidance they need.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily packaging activities to meet production requirements.

- Lead, support and provide direction to packaging employees.

- Ensure products are correctly packed, labelled and prepared for distribution.

- Monitor product quality and ensure food safety standards are maintained.

- Ensure employees follow workplace health and safety procedures.

- Assist with training new employees and developing team skills.

- Identify and report production issues, equipment faults and quality concerns.

- Maintain a clean,



safe and organised work area.

- Work closely with the Production Supervisor to improve productivity and team performance.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

- Experience working in a production or packaging environment, preferably within food manufacturing.

- Previous Team Leader experience or the willingness to step into a leadership role.

- Good communication and organisational skills.

- The ability to motivate and support a team.

- A strong understanding of workplace safety, food safety and quality requirements.

- A reliable, positive attitude and willingness to lead by example, whilst being hands-on.

- The ability to work in a fast-paced production setting.
