About the role

Paradise Timbers is seeking a Timber/Joinery Factory Hand to join our manufacturing team on the Gold Coast. This is a casual position. In this role, you will be working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, supporting the production of high-quality timber products and joinery.

You will be part of a dedicated team responsible for ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. This position is based in Gold Coast, QLD, and offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in timber manufacturing and production.

What you'll be doing

- Operating timber manufacturing and joinery equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with all health and safety guidelines

- Preparing timber and materials for production runs, ensuring all materials are accurately measured and cut to specification

- Assisting in the assembly of timber and joinery components using appropriate tools and techniques

- Laminating, sanding, optimising, working with resin to create flexible moulds

- Monitoring production quality and identifying any defects or inconsistencies, reporting issues to supervisory staff

- Maintaining a clean and organised work area, including machine maintenance and general housekeeping duties

- Loading and unloading materials and finished products as required

- Following all company procedures and work instructions to ensure consistent output and safety compliance

- Collaborating with team members to meet production targets and deadlines

- Assisting with packaging and preparing finished products for dispatch

- What we're looking for

- Previous experience working in a timber manufacturing or joinery factory environment is highly desirable

- Demonstrated ability to operate machinery safely and competently, with experience using hand tools and power tools





- Robust attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards

- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately

- Physical fitness and capability to perform manual labour, including lifting and handling materials

- Reliability and punctuality, particularly given the casual nature of the role

- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and equipment

- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
