About the role

Galari Land & Civil is seeking a motivated Labourer or Trainee to join our team working on biodiversity and land-management activities at Evolution Mining's Lake Cowal operations. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone keen to learn practical skills in agriculture, environmental land management and minor civil works. You'll work alongside experienced team members, receive on-the-job training and contribute to safe, responsible work across the site.

No previous experience is required. A positive attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are essential.

Key responsibilities

- Assist the team with vegetation management, weed control, revegetation and general land-management tasks.

- Help with agricultural, environmental and minor civil works.

- Carry and organise tools, materials and equipment.

- Assist with site preparation, clean-up and maintenance.

- Follow instructions from the Team Leader and experienced operators.

- Help keep work areas tidy and protect the environment.

- Attend pre-start meetings, toolbox talks and required training.

- Follow safety procedures, site rules and directions.

- Report hazards, equipment problems and changing site conditions to the Team Leader.





- Complete basic work records and other documentation with support.

About you

- Are keen to learn new skills and take direction.

- Have a positive attitude and work well as part of a team.

- Communicate respectfully and ask questions when unsure.

- Take safety seriously and follow instructions.

- Can undertake physical work, including walking, lifting and working outdoors.

- Are interested in agriculture, land management, the environment or civil works.

- Current Australian driver licence, or a willingness to work towards obtaining one.

- Ability to complete basic written, verbal and digital tasks with support.

- Commitment to secure work practices and environmental protection.

- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening, and police check.
