Career Employment Group Inc (CEG) is seeking applications for a Trainer and Assessor to join its dynamic hospitality training division, Adelaide Institute of Hospitality (AIOH), RTO 40138.

This is a fantastic prospect for an experienced hospitality professional to share their industry knowledge and help develop South Australia's next generation of hospitality workers.

This is a casual position, with the majority of training delivery taking place at Port Augusta Technical College.

About the Role

Working with a diverse group of learners, predominantly senior school students undertaking vocational education pathways, you will deliver engaging, practical and compliant hospitality training.

Key responsibilities include:

- Delivering SIT20421 Certificate II in Cookery and SIT30821 Certificate III in Commercial Cookery in accordance with relevant training and assessment requirements.

- Providing engaging, hands-on training to students from diverse backgrounds and learning abilities.

- Supporting students to develop the practical skills and industry knowledge needed for a career in hospitality.

- Establishing and maintaining industry relationships to ensure training and assessment services reflect current industry expectations.

- Maintaining compliant training and assessment documentation.





- Demonstrating flexibility with working hours to meet the needs of our valued clients.

About You

- Minimum of two years' current experience in the hospitality industry.

- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110, TAE40116, TAE40122 or its successor).

- Current driver's licence and reliable transport.

Previous experience as a Head Chef and/or in a training role will be highly regarded.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical.
