Great Southern Fuel Supply is seeking an experience and motivated transport Operations Coordinator to join our friendly and hard-working Geraldton Operations Team on a full-time permanent basis.

About the Role:

The Transport Operations Coordinator role plays an significant role in ensuring transport operations run safely, efficiently and in accordance with company procedures.

The Transport Operations Coordinator role exists to provide operational and administrative support to the transport team (Linehaul & local), ensuring the efficient day-to-day coordination of transport activities.

The role is responsible for supporting drivers, maintaining accurate operational records, assisting with scheduling, payroll administration, compliance documentation, and acting as a key communication link between drivers, customers, terminals, compliance and management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide administrative and operational support to the Transport team to ensure the efficient day-to-day running of transport activities.

- Process driver timesheets, payroll information, transport documentation, and operational records accurately and within required timeframes.

- Assist with transport scheduling, load creation, customer delivery coordination, and regional operational planning.

- Support drivers with transport paperwork, compliance requirements, eDocket enquiries, and general operational assistance.

- Maintain transport compliance records, including Safe Loading Passes, licences, inductions, medicals,



and other regulatory documentation.

- Liaise with customers, fuel terminals, drivers, and internal stakeholders to coordinate deliveries and resolve operational issues.

- Assist with fleet administration, workshop servicing schedules, and FIFO travel bookings.Promote a positive safety culture by adhering to all health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.

- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, risk management activities, and business process enhancements.

- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and team members while representing Excellent Southern Fuel Supplies professionally.

About You:

- Previous experience in transport, logistics, operations, or administration roles.

- Strong organisational, planning, and time management skills with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders.

- High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer-based systems; experience with MYOB, MTData, Gearbox, or similar transport management systems is advantageous.
