Our client is a national, specialised last mile courier delivery company in need of a permanent, full-time person to oversee the performance and retention of a large team of Delivery Professionals working in the Woodville area for some of Australia’s largest retailers.

Based in Woodville, you will be part of a busy and agile team, working a 5 day week (Tuesday to Saturday) from 5am to 1pm. A generous salary of $85,000 plus super is on offer plus a $10,000 car allowance.

FURTHER DETAILS OF THE ROLE:

· You will be overseeing the onboarding, retention and performance of a team of Delivery Professionals while building strong relationships within that team

· You will lead performance reviews while identifying areas for improvement and putting strategies in place to drive outstanding performance

· You will oversee the safety and compliance requirements of the team

· You will identify any inefficiencies in processes and operations and contribute to continuous improvement of the fleet

· Full training in processes and a comprehensive handover will be provided

· You will need a reliable vehicle and Licence plus a Police Clearance for this role

· An immediate start would be ideal if possible

· Relevant experience in a similar operational role in the transport or delivery sector

· The ability to successfully lead a team while building strong relationships

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Flexibility with regular shift hours including 1 day each weekend

· Previous experience with performance management, budget tracking and process improvements

· Knowledge of safety and compliance requirements in the transport or delivery sectors

· Sound IT skills with MS Office and FMS software

· The ability to solve problems, meet deadlines and be proactive

· A comprehensive knowledge of Adelaide suburbs
